Prior to the Pregnant New Yorker Event, I thought I knew a lot about pregnancy, labor and what to do post-partum. After all, I have been reading a lot of books on these topics and asking my doctor a ton of questions. However, I walked away from the Pregnant New Yorker Event with a different perspective on certain issues and practices. The information presented at the event was far more 'real', less PC and really helped me to formulate and/or solidify my opinions.  Attending the event was a valuable experience.

I enjoyed tonight's session at yummy mummy very much! this is a whole new experience for my husband and I and it brought up a lot of points that i would not have asked or thought about otherwise. it also taught me about a lot of great services out there for pregnant women.. i found it very informative..thank you for putting it together!

We had a great experience. Good energy, great information, and nice raffles too! It was so nice to have a large network of people in one space answering questions and sharing ideas. This is definitely something we would do to again.

I thought it was a great event! Good location and well organized. It was nice to socialize with other women in the same situation as me and it was comforting to hear people ask questions that I myself was wondering about!

The atmosphere at this event was friendly and welcoming, and I left with a ton more knowledge than I came with.

I didn't know what to expect when I went the the expo but I'm glad I attended. Not only do you get to meet other pregnant moms, but you are exposed to a variety of vendors and classes that will help you throughout your pregnancy and beyond. I highly recommend checking these out!

I loved the Pregnant New Yorker event I went to in Park Slope. It was really nice to meet other pregnant women who are due around the same time as me and live in the same neighborhood. The speakers were very informative. I learned a lot, plus went home with a great goodie bag and my raffle prize: a nursing sling/burp cloth.

The Expo was very informative, relaxed and enjoyable. There was great energy, and it was such a supportive environment. A great forum for any questions and even some new ideas to think about as we begin the journey of becoming parents.

I truly enjoyed the Pregnant New Yorker December event. I felt like a princess in a cozy castle - the event was catered for and about new moms and it really made me feel like a special guest. The speakers were lovely and informative. I'd recommend it to any new parents-to-be.

I loved the event. I learnt a lot and more importantly it was eye-opening for my husband to be in a room full of pregnant women and conclude I wasn't driving him crazy for no reason!

I learned some great massage techniques as well as some home safety, my friend got a discount on blood cord and used it the next day... all friendly and good stuff ;-)

The Pregnant New Yorker Event was time very well spent! The event provided great access to a wealth of experts in various areas of prenatal care, and offered the opportunity for education and reassurance for eager, and anxious, mothers-to-be. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Attending this event has been such a relief. I had no idea how stressed I'd been about the dearth of good information -- pediatricians, doulas, midwives, neighborhood groups, alternative healthcare, even figuring out a sling. Now I have experts to contact (whom I've met in person!) and reliable local websites to visit. I feel so much better now!

I though the Pregnant New Yorker event was so much fun! It was great to connect with so many pregnant women and hear from a wide array of interesting practitioners!
